Prevention

Discover how to prevent addiction, strengthen your family, and guide your teenager toward a healthier path.

Encyclopedia of Independence

In a world where on every corner we acutely feel the smell of what only recently counted as a drug… In a world, where you can easily buy alcohol with a fake ID, and casinos are advertised like Disneyland… Modern teenagers are awaited by a great many available and at the same time lethal desires.

How to teach your child to say “No” to drugs? How to protect them from excessive alcohol consumption? What can be done so that an interest in gambling won’t grow into a heavy addiction?

You’ll find the answers to these and many other important questions in “Encyclopedia of Independence”. Inside you’ll find valuable information: reminders for parents from the child, advice on addiction prevention, myths on consumption and family traps, various texts, alongside true stories of people that prove that you can find a way out of all, even the most difficult situations.

This book can help a child to choose the right path. Can save a teenager’s life. Can keep the family together. That is why we’d like every parent to read it.

I’m sincerely happy that such a literary work finally became available to a multitude of readers who need it. The book fully and thoroughly analyzes and systematizes a vast amount of material. Despite this, the material is expressed in such a simple and accessible way, that even a child can comprehend it. I’m convinced that “Encyclopedia of Independence” will play a huge role in solving the problems of drug addiction, alcoholism, and mental illness. I bring a massive gratitude for such a relevant craft on the adequate path of raising the generations of our children and grandchildren.

The current edition, prepared as an encyclopedic handbook for parents, provides a vast basis of data about such occurrences of modern reality that have a destructive influence on intellectual, moral, economic, legal basics of both individuals and society at large. The book is beneficial for every family, having practical advice on overcoming the social evils such as alcoholism, gambling addiction and non-prescribed consumption of drugs.

Similar social initiatives help strengthen the healthy powers of society, keep self-conscience, dignity and valuable elements of national culture. The book gives a chance to the whole of society to realize the necessity of a prompt overcoming of a spiritual crisis for the right choice of further safe path.

Attracting attention of world population to the key role of adults in preventing drug addiction among kids and teenagers is the prerogative of the information company UNODC, dedicated to the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking. It’s slogan: “Drugs are not child’s play!”

At the center of attention were the parents, teachers, social tutors, and the rest of the adults who carry the responsibility for the health and well-being of children. Specifically for them, alongside the kids themselves, was created the “Encyclopedia of Independence”, which, as we hope, will become a beneficial practical guide for prevention of such issues as drug addiction, alcoholism and gambling.

Accessible narrative of such complex problems, curious historical and statistical data, practical advice and recommendations of this book will help both the kids and adults alike to know about dangers associated with these diseases, and also the ways of their treatment. Kids and adults armed with this information will be well-prepared to oppose the addictions and handle the ailment.

Individual Prevention

Family Life Coaching

Within the framework of our family prevention program, we organize individual trainings that involve work with teenagers and parents. If you choose to benefit from a personal session with project experts, such a session can be held at any place where you feel safe and comfortable.

Some of the strengths of our life coaching programs:

  • A pool of experience in specialized work with children and adolescents (including troubled teenagers), extensive practice in family therapy.
  • An integrated approach to prevention within the family, using best psychological practices and psychotherapy techniques.
  • Each program is unique: it is tailored specifically for a particular case, based on the issues and challenges at hand, and takes into account multiple aspects within the context of a concrete family’s situation.
  • When building a program, we make sure that the teenager’s age-related, individual, psychological and psychophysical characteristics are taken into account.
  • At your request, complete anonymity and absolute confidentiality can be maintained during therapy.
